"It's not very often I feel a place needs a review, but this little cafe deserves a darn good one. I have to say my morning was truly made walking inside at 6:30Am and seeing a table of local guys shooting bull and drinking coffee. Made it feel like I was walking in the diner back home in Missouri. I drive a truck for a living and have ate in many of restaurants breakfast joints and diners, but this little cafe is by far my new favorite. I don't get to Texas super often but when I'm down here in Seymour I can assure you I'll make a point to stop by and get a good hot meal. Parking area is great I was the only RT there over night it's a gravel/dusty lot but it's clean drivers if ya stop in you won't be disappointed!!!! Thanks agin rock inn cafe !!!!!!!!"

"What a nice little Cafe in Seymour Texas. Absolutely nice Service, best coffee for me on my Roadtrip. I ordered Pancake with Nutella and it was so delicious. The building is over 100 years old and the Diner has his own charm "

"Older restaurant built in the 1930's. Friendly staff & quick service! The taco salad was one of the best I've ever had! My husband loved his chicken fried steak & hand breaded onion rings were outstanding!"

"The food is fairly good and the service was just fine. The building is dilapidated and lacks a little comfort. Husband said the men's restroom was vile today in particular. I had breakfast and everything was fine but the breakfast potatoes were a little cold. They looked like they'd been parboiled or baked and then told stories of a grill or skillet. I prefer a little more heat on at least one side of them. Prices are fair. It could use a little spot polish but if I was stuck in Seymour I'd give it a lunch try."

"This cute little hole in the wall is definitely worth making a stop for. We were passing through and really enjoyed the food and the friendly customer service. One downfall they have is the speed at which they fix the food. It took 45 min to get our food. If you have the time to wait, this is definitely worth it!"

"Like I have said before. I'm just an old truck driver, in search of the best hamburger steaks, and other delights across the country. And this hamburger steak definitely makes the list. I got here less than an hour before they closed, and the staff was exceptionally friendly, and my meal was served, hot, fresh, and in a very timely manner. And, the food was perfect. If you are ever in Seymour TX I highly recommend the rock Inn Cafe. When ever possible, please support small local businesses. Cracker Barrel can live another day without you. Many small businesses can not."
